This 5-day itinerary offers a blend of cultural exploration and natural beauty in Northern Vietnam. Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Hanoi – City Tour (overnight in Hanoi) (Lunch/Dinner)
- The appointed tour guide will welcome guests at Noi Bai international airport then heading to have lunch with sample Hanoi delights at local eating outlets, like Pho (Vietnam noodle with beef or chicken broth)/ Banh Mi (Vietnam baguette).
- Then, proceed for Hanoi city covering Tran Quoc Pagoda, Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi Old City Gate, Trainline street, Hoan Kiem Lake, St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Hanoi Opera House and Hanoi Old Quarter ~ The 36 Ancient Streets.
- During the tour, enjoy Egg Coffee (Hanoi style coffee).
- After the city tour, we will proceed to have dinner at a local restaurant and enjoy authentic Vietnam cuisine of Cha Ca grilled fish.
- Transfer the guests the hotel for check-in, then the tour program, tour guide, and transport services end.
Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay (overnight on cruise) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Our driver will meet up with guests at the hotel’s lobby around 08:30-8:45 AM.
- Transfer from Hanoi to Tuan Chau Harbour via Hai Phong’s new expressway (approx. 150km, 2.5hrs)
- Upon arriving at the La Casta Cruise check-in lounge, the guests may enjoy the refreshment of coffee and tea while waiting for the cruise porters to load the luggage on board.
- 11:30-12:00 Upon arrival at Tuan Chau International Cruise Port, you will enjoy a warm welcome by our cruise staff in the waiting lounge and complete check-in procedure.
- 12:00 Upon boarding Amanda Cruise, our crew welcome you with a refreshing drink and cold towel before checking into your cabin. The vessel leaves Tuan Chau Marina, taking you on an exciting journey to discover the beauty of Ha Long Bay. Along the way, you can enjoy the view of some of the most beautiful spots in Ha Long and admire the grandeur of the Bay with thousands of limestone islands while the vessel heads to Luon Cave & Titop Island. Enjoy your lunch at our luxurious restaurant on board while the vessel cruises toward Luon Cave.
- 14.00: You will be transferred to Titop Island by tender.
- Visit Titop Island and hike to the top for stunning views of Ha Long Bay, or have a fun swim in the clear blue water.
- 16.00: Exploring Sung Sot cave. This is one of the largest and most beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay. The cave has some unique rock formations which couldn’t be found anywhere else. The path to the mouth of Sung Sot Cave is under a canopy of leaves. Walking through steep stone steps, tourists may have the feeling of climbing on mountains and experience the excitement as if they are stepping to the sky.
- 17.30-18.00 Back on board, you will participate in Sunset party & cooking class while the vessel cruises toward the shore. You can enjoy relaxing moments while sipping a cup of traditional Vietnamese tea or coffee on the sundeck amid wonderful scenery and beautiful sunset. You will be instructed to make delicious Fresh Spring rolls by our chef and then enjoy the rolls made on your own.

- 19.30 Gala Dinner. Enjoy your dinner on the Sundeck (if the weather is favorable)
- 20.30 After dinner, you will enjoy a peaceful view of the Bay at night on the deck. You can also participate in evening activities such as herbal foot bath in your room (free of charge), Bamboo dancing, fashion show traditional customs “Footsteps of Heritage” and some drinks at Sky Bar and massage (subject to additional charge), while admiring breathtaking view of the Bay at night and squid fishing.

Day 3: Luon Cave – Ha Long Bay – Hanoi (overnight in Hanoi) (Breakfast/Lunch)
- 6:15: Wake up early, join the Tai Chi session on sundeck area,
- 6:30-7:00 Enjoy a light breakfast with coffee, tea, cake and fruit.
- 07.30 You return to your cabin to prepare for kayaking activities in Luon Cave.
- Arriving at Luon Cave area, you will participate in kayaking or rafting here around the thousand-year-old rock formations.
- 08.30-09.30 Back on board, you can rest in your room, enjoy the herbal foot bath prepared by our crew, sunbathe on the sundeck, take pictures of HaLong Bay or shop for souvenirs on the boat.
- 09.00 Please put your luggage outside your cabin and leave the room key at the reception desk. Our staff will transfer your luggage to the waiting area. While waiting, you can shop for some products of Amanda cruise.
- 10.00 Enjoy an early lunch buffet at the restaurant on the 2nd floor and settle the bills if any.
- 11.00 Arrival at Tuan Chau Marina.
- 11:30 Get on the luxury van and get back to Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi – Hao Lu – Trang An Grottoes – Hang Mua Cave – Hanoi (overnight in Hanoi) (Breakfast/Lunch)
- Today we will travel to Ninh Binh Province the journey is approximately 100 KM away from Hanoi and the driving duration takes 90 minutes.
- 10h00: After arriving Ninh Binh province, the guide takes you to visit Hoa Lu – the Ancient Royal capital of Viet Nam. We will visit Dinh king temple and Le king temple, in the 10th century, finding out the heroic histories of this two Kings in Chinese Wars.
- 11h00: Visit Mua Cave (Mua mean Dance) with 500 steps up to the Top of Mua Moutain. On the Top, you can overview all the nice sence of Hoa Lu.
- 12:30 Enjoy the lunch at our restaurant with the great local cuisines.
- 13h30: Depart to visit Trang An Eco-Tourism attraction, there is beautiful scenery landscape, you will boarding a small boat to visit Trang An, you will see majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious yet inviting caves, as well as countryside sights, like peaceful streams, rice paddies and deserted green fields. Take boat trip to visit cave complex: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness, see scenery of mountain and rivers Ha Long on land of Ninh Binh.
- 17h00: Get on bus and go back to Hotel in Hanoi. Tour program ends.
Day 5: Depart Hanoi (Breakfast)
- Enjoy free time for self-arranged activities.
- Assemble as per the agreed schedule, the driver will pick you up at hotel lobby and transfer to the airport for departure.
