Overview
This 8-day Sri Lanka tour covers the island’s top sights, blending culture, nature, and relaxation. Start in Negombo with a city tour, then head to Dambulla to explore the Cave Temples and Sigiriya Rock. In Kandy, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and enjoy free time to explore gem shops and silk gardens.
The journey continues to Nuwara Eliya, with stops at Ramboda Waterfalls and a tea plantation. Relax in the cool climate and enjoy a boat ride on Gregory Lake. On the final leg, explore Colombo’s historical sites, including Fort Colombo and the Lotus Tower, before heading to the airport on Day 8.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Negombo (Dinner)
- Arrived in Bandaranaike International Airport and meet with our representative.
- Transfer to hotel, dinner and overnight stay at Pegasus Hotel or similar.
Day 2: Negombo – Dambulla (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Proceed to Dambulla.
- Upon arrival at Dambulla, visit famous Cave Temples.
- Immerse yourself in the traditional Sri Lankan way of life with the Sigiriya Village Tour.
- Lunch and evening leave for Sigiriya for Photo-stop (entrance fees excluded) – if you wish to climb Sigiriya, additional cost will be USD 36 per person.
- Transfer to hotel, dinner and overnight stay at Elephas resort & Spa (Deluxe Room) or similar.
Day 3: Dambulla – Matale – Kandy (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Transfer to Kandy.
- En route make a stop at the Spice Garden at Matale.
- Enjoy a complementary Teaser Head and Shoulder Massage at the Spice Gardens for 10 mins.
- Proceed with your journey to Kandy.
- Arrive, proceed city tour including upper lake drive and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.
- Check in hotel.
- Dinner and overnight stay at Topaz Kandy (Deluxe) or similar
Day 4: Kandy (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast at hotel, free & leisure day at Kandy.
- You will also make a visit to Gem Shop, Silk Gardens and Wood Carving Factory where you will learn how to world renown marvels are produced in Sri Lanka.
- Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- After breakfast, leave for Nuwara Eliya (78kms – approx. 2 ½ hrs drive)
- En route make a stop at Ramboda Waterfalls for a photo stop and then make a visit to a Tea Plantation and a Tea factory.
- While visiting the plantation and learning the process of making the Tea to the finest quality drop in also purchase tea at your wish (excursion visit – 45mins)
- Leave for Nuwara Eliya and proceed on a city tour.
- Then check in hotel, dinner and overnight stay at Single Tree Mount Hotel (Deluxe) or similar
Day 6: Nuwara Eliya (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Relaxing at hotel and enjoying the chill climate of Nuwara Eliya.
- Lunch at outside restaurant.
- Gregory Lake, if you’re interested in slight adventure, you can also take part in Speed boat and other water sport activities in the park at your own expenses.
- Dinner and overnight stay at Single Tree Mount Hotel (Deluxe) or similar.
Day 7: Nuwara Eliya – Colombo (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Leave for Colombo.
- Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street – the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area where there is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings, the Kaymans Gate with the Belfry at the original gate to enter the Fort, the Dutch Church of Wolvendaal dating back to 1749, Dawatagaha Mosque, Colombo Museum and the Natural History Museum are some of the sites to be visited.
- Visit the BMICH (Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall), see the replica of Avukana Buddha and the Independence Square. (Excursion Duration – Approx. 02 – 03 hrs)
- On the return make a stop at the Lotus Tower to take pictures of the newest addition to Sri Lanka.
- Dinner and overnight stay at Fairway Colombo (Deluxe Room) or similar.
Day 8: Colombo (Breakfast)
- After breakfast, check out and transfer to airport for departure.

Remarks
- Rooms are subject to availability upon confirmation of the Booking.
- Alcohol will not be served by any hotel on Poya Days (full moon) and public holidays prohibited by the government.
- Smoking Tobacco and drinking alcohol are strictly prohibited in public places and is only allowed in designated areas.
- When entering a Buddhist Temple or Hindu Kovil, refrain from wearing shorts, skinnies when entering and remove footwear/caps. Some temples do not allow photographs.
- Do not feed monkeys and other animals and do not wear bright colored clothes during Game drives and nature walks as it can distract animals.
