Overview
This 11-day tour of Sri Lanka offers a comprehensive exploration of the island’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty. The journey begins with a visit to Negombo, followed by a cultural tour through Jaffna, with stops at notable temples and historical sites such as the Jaffna Fort and the Muneshwaram Temple. Travelers will then explore the ancient city of Anuradhapura, the coastal town of Trincomalee, and continue to Kandy, where they can experience the Temple of the Sacred Tooth and local cultural performances.
The second half of the tour takes guests through the scenic hill country, including Nuwara Eliya, where they’ll visit tea plantations and enjoy breathtaking views. The trip also includes visits to sacred sites in Kataragama, a safari in Yala, and a chance to explore Galle’s historic fort. The journey concludes in Colombo with a city tour, shopping, and a farewell dinner before heading to the airport for departure. Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Colombo – Negombo
- Arrive at Colombo International Airport.
- Meet with our representative then proceed to Negombo.
- Check in hotel and relax.
Day 2: Negombo – Jaffna (Breakfast/Dinner)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Then proceed to visit Chilaw and Visit Muneshwaram Temple.
- On arrival in Jaffna, visit Jaffna Fort.
- After that check in to hotel, relax and dinner at hotel.
Day 3: Jaffna (Breakfast/Dinner)
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Visit Nagapoosami Temple, followed by Nallur Temple and Keerimalai Naguleswaram Temple (also known as Keerimalai Naguleswaram Kovil).
- After that proceed to visit Maviddapuram Murugan Temple.
- On completion, return into the hotel and dinner.
Day 4: Jaffna – Anuradhapura (Breakfast/Dinner)
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Proceed to the Ancient City of Anuradhapura and then start the city tour of Anuradhapura.
- After that check in to hotel, relax and dinner at hotel.
Day 5: Anuradhapura – Trincomalee (Breakfast/Dinner)
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Proceed to Trincomalee.
- On the arrival, visit Koneswaram Temple (also known as the Thirukonamamalai Konesar Kovil, the Temple of Thousand Pillars and Thiru-Konamamalai Maccakeswaram Kovil).
- Right after that, proceed to visit Kanniya Hot Springs.
- After that check in to hotel, relax and dinner at hotel.
Day 6: Trincomalee – Matale – Kandy (Breakfast/Dinner)
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Proceed to Kandy via Matale.
- Visit the Spice Garden in Matale.
- On arrival in Kandy, explore the city of Kandy.
- Then visit the Temple of Sacred Tooth and then experience the Kandu Cultural Show.
- After the completion, check in to the hotel and relax.
Day 7: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya (Breakfast/Dinner)
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Proceed to Nuwara Eliya.
- En route visit the Ramboda Falls.
- Visit Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple.
- Once in the tea factory, you would generally start out in the plantation itself to learn about how tea is cultivated, then visit the factory where ancient machines pre-dating the industrial revolution wither, roll and dry the tea.
- Next proceed to the City View of Nuwara Eliya.
- Check into the hotel and relax.
Day 8: Nuwara Eliya – Kataragama (Breakfast/Dinner)
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Proceed to Kataragama.
- En route visit Seetha Amman Temple.
- Then proceed to visit Ravana Ella Cave.
- After that, head to Murugan Temple.
- The annual procession held in July or August is the main event of the shrine with fire walkers and Kawadi dancers.
- On completion check into the hotel and relax.
Day 9: Kataragama – Galle – Bentota (Breakfast/Dinner)

- Proceed to Bentota via Galle.
- En route Experience a Safari Ride in Yala of your own choice.
- Explore Galle Fart.
- On completion proceed to Bentota then continue to check in the hotel and relax.

Day 10: Bentota – Colombo (Breakfast/Dinner)

- Then proceed to Balapitaya for a Boat Safari at Mahu River.
- In the process, witness some of the most beautiful Turtles at the Turtle Hatchery.

Day 11: Colombo – Airport (Breakfast/Dinner)
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Then proceed to explore the city of Colombo.
- When its evening, start shopping in Colombo.
