Overview
This 9-day journey through Egypt showcases the country’s most iconic ancient wonders and vibrant cultural heritage. Beginning in Cairo, travellers explore the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, traditional craft centres, and world-class museums before venturing into historic markets. The adventure continues with a domestic flight to Luxor, where majestic temples and archaeological treasures await, followed by an immersive multi-day Nile Cruise that stops at significant sites such as the Valley of the Kings, Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Aswan.
Along the Nile, guests enjoy a blend of guided exploration, cultural insights, and scenic river sailing, with optional visits such as the monumental Abu Simbel. Returning to Cairo, the journey concludes with visits to Coptic and Islamic landmarks, including ancient churches, synagogues, and the Citadel. Throughout the trip, travellers experience a rich tapestry of history, architecture, and local traditions before departing for home.

Itinerary
Day 1 – Saturday: Arrival Cairo (Dinner)
- Upon arrival at airprot, meet with our local representative and transfer to hotel for check in and overnight.
- Dinner will be provided at local restaurant.
Day 2 – Sunday: Cairo (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- After breakfast, transfer to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Giza – the oldest & largest of the three Pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex.
- Visit the Sphinx – a limestone statue of a reclining sphinx, a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human.
- Visit the Papyrus Factory to learn about ancient Egyptian paper making and art, and visit Essence Factory to refresh yourself in this Egyptian fragrant.
- Next, transfer to visit the (GEM) NEW GRAND EGYPTIAN MUSEUM.
- End your day with shopping at the largest bazaar in Middle East — Khan El Khalili Bazaar.
- Lunch & Dinner at local restaurant.
Day 3 – Monday: Cairo – Luxor (Domestic flight not included) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Packed breakfast transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor (domestic flight not included)
- Arrive Luxor and start day tour to visit Temple of Karnak and Temple of Luxor.
- Later transfer to the Nile Cruise for check in and overnight on board.
- Lunch & Dinner on board of Nile Cruise.
Day 4 – Tuesday: Luxor – Esna – Edfu – Nile Cruise (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- After Breakfast on board of the Nile Cruise, visit the Valley of the Kings, the Tombs of the Kings, photo stop at Colossi of Memnon.
- Proceed to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
- Continue journey, passing-by the Esna-lock for a smooth upstream sailing.
- Lunch, Dinner & Overnight on board of the Nile Cruise.
Day 5 – Wednesday: Edfu – Kom Ombo – Nile Cruise (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Arrive Edfu.
- Transfer by Kalesh (Egyptian Cadillac) or horse drawn carriage (Replace by bus during peak season) to the Temple of Horus.
- Back to cruise continue sailing to Kom Ombo and visit the Ptolemaic Temple Shared by Two Gods, Sobek and Heroeris.
- Tonight, we wear our galabeas (traditional Egyptian attire – own prepare) for a fun-filled Egyptian Dinner and Galabea Theme Party.
- Continue sailing to Aswan & Overnight on board.
Day 6 – Thursday: Aswan – Abu Simbel – Nile Cruise (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Today OPTIONAL TRIP to take an excursion by coach to the Mighty Sun Temple of ABU SIMBLE flanked by four giant stone statues of Ramses II.
- Arrive Aswan & in the evening, experience a relax sail in a traditional Nile Felucca around the Elephantine Islands.
- Later transfer to the Nile Cruise for overnight on board.
Day 7 – Friday: Aswan – Cairo (Domestic flight not included) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- After breakfast, check out from the Nile Cruise.
- Visit Ancient Granite Quarries and the enormous Unfinished Obelisk. View for the Old Dam and the High Dam, which provides irrigation and electricity to the whole Egypt.
- Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Cairo (domestic flight not included)
- Next, to the hotel for overnight in Cairo.
- Lunch & Dinner at local restaurant.
Day 8 – Saturday: Cairo (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- After breakfast, transfer to visit Coptic Cairo
- Hanging Church – one of the oldest churches in Egypt located above a gatehouse of Babylon Fortress.
- Church of St Sergius & Bacchus – one of the oldest Coptic churches in Egypt dating back to the 4th century
- Ben Erza Synagogue – located behind the Hanging Church)
- Next, transfer to visit the Egyptian Museum in Al-Tahrir.
- Visit to the Citadel of Salah El-din and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali.
- Lunch & Dinner at local Restaurant
Day 9 – Sunday: Cairo – Kuala Lumpur (Breakfast)
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
- Next, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Kuala Lumpur
