Overview
This 6-day tour begins with a city exploration of Hanoi, where guests will visit iconic landmarks such as the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square, and Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Along the way, travelers will sample local delights like Pho and Egg Coffee and have time to shop for souvenirs. On Day 2, the group will embark on a scenic journey to Halong Bay for an overnight cruise, where they will explore the stunning Lan Ha Bay, enjoy activities like kayaking, and experience local cuisine and entertainment.
Day 4 takes guests to Sapa, where they will visit the picturesque Cat Cat Village and immerse themselves in the daily life of local ethnic groups. The next day features a visit to Sun World Fansipan Legend, including a cable car ride to the peak of Fansipan Mountain. After a day of exploration, the tour concludes with free time in Hanoi before departing. Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Hanoi – City Tour (overnight in Hanoi) (Lunch/Dinner)
- The appointed tour guide will welcome guests at Noi Bai international airport and immediately heading to have lunch with sample Hanoi delights at local eating outlets, like Pho (Vietnam noodle with beef or chicken broth)/ Banh Mi (Vietnam baguette).
- Later, we will take off from the hotel for Hanoi city covering Tran Quoc Pagoda, Ba Dinh Square, Ngoc Son Temple, Hanoi Old City Gate, Trainline street, Hoan Kiem Lake, St. Joseph Cathedral, Hanoi Opera House and Hanoi Old Quarter ~ The 36 Ancient Streets.
- Enjoy Egg Coffee (Hanoi style coffee).
- After the city tour, we will proceed to have dinner at a local restaurant, and enjoy authentic Vietnam cuisine of Cha Ca grilled fish.
- Transfer to hotel for check in and overnight stay.
Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay (overnight on cruise) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Our driver will meet up with guests at the hotel’s lobby around 08:30-8:45am and transfer the guests from Hanoi to Tuan Chau Harbour via Hai Phong’s new expressway. The journey is approximately 150 KM and driving durations will take 2.5 hours.
- 11:30-12:00 Upon arrival at Tuan Chau International Cruise Port, you will enjoy a warm welcome by our cruise staff in the waiting lounge and complete check-in procedure.
- 12:00 Upon boarding Amanda Cruise, our crew welcome you with a refreshing drink and cold towel before checking into your cabin. The vessel leaves Tuan Chau Marina, taking you on an exciting journey to discover the beauty of Ha Long Bay. Along the way, you can enjoy the view of some of the most beautiful spots in Ha Long and admire the grandeur of the Bay with thousands of limestone islands while the vessel heads to Luon Cave & Titop Island. Enjoy your lunch at our luxurious restaurant on board while the vessel cruises toward Luon Cave.
- 14.00: You will be transferred to Titop Island by tender.
- Visit Titop Island and hike to the top for stunning views of Ha Long Bay, or have a fun swim in the clear blue water.
- 19.30 Gala Dinner. Enjoy your dinner on the Sundeck (if the weather is favorable) 16.00: Exploring Sung Sot cave. This is one of the largest and most beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay. The cave has some unique rock formations which couldn’t be found anywhere else. The path to the mouth of Sung Sot Cave is under a canopy of leaves. Walking through steep stone steps, tourists may have the feeling of climbing on mountains and experience the excitement as if they are stepping to the sky.
- 17.30-18.00 Back on board, you will participate in Sunset party & cooking class while the vessel cruises toward the shore. You can enjoy relaxing moments while sipping a cup of traditional Vietnamese tea or coffee on the sundeck amid wonderful scenery and beautiful sunset. You will be instructed to make delicious Fresh Spring rolls by our chef and then enjoy the rolls made on your own.

- 20.30 After dinner, you will enjoy a peaceful view of the Bay at night on the deck. You can also participate in evening activities such as herbal foot bath in your room (free of charge), Bamboo dancing, fashion show traditional customs “Footsteps of Heritage” and some drinks at Sky Bar and massage (subject to additional charge), while admiring breathtaking view of the Bay at night and squid fishing.
Day 3: Luon Cave – Ha Long Bay – Hanoi (overnight in Hanoi) (Breakfast/Lunch)
- 6:15: Wake up early, join the Tai Chi session on sundeck area.
- 6:30-7:00 Enjoy a light breakfast with coffee, tea, cake and fruit.
- 07.30 You return to your cabin to prepare for kayaking activities in Luon Cave.
- Arriving at Luon Cave area, you will participate in kayaking or rafting here around the thousand- year-old rock formations.
- Back on board, you can rest in your room, enjoy the herbal foot bath prepared by our crew, sunbathe on the sundeck, take pictures of Ha Long Bay or shop for souvenirs on the boat.
- 09.00 Please put your luggage outside your cabin and leave the room key at the reception desk. Our staff will transfer your luggage to the waiting area. While waiting, you can shop for some products of Amanda cruise.
- 10.00 Enjoy an early lunch buffet at the restaurant on the 2nd floor and settle the bills if any.
- 11.00 Arrival at Tuan Chau Marina.
- 11:30 Get on the luxury van and get back to Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi – Sapa Valley – Cat Cat Village (overnight stay in Sapa Valley) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- The tour bus driver will pick up guests around 06:30am-06:45am from the hotel.
- Drive to SAPA via the highway and the journey is approximately 320 KM and durations approximately 5.5 hours enroute with a session of comfort break for rest and relaxation.
- Upon arrival in SAPA, the appointed guide will wait for you at hotel and escort your to check-in hotel and lunch.
- After lunch, we will start for a walking tour to visit Cat Cat-the old village of ethnic groups, especially Black H’Mong. The road leading to Cat Cat Village is an easy and interesting route for trekking.
- Visiting Cat Cat, tourists will be impressed by the peacefully picturesque sceneries and also a chance to have a glimpse into the daily life of local ethnic people, as well as take part in traditional activities such as weaving fabric.
- Return to hotel for freshen up, dinner at local restaurant then back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5: Sapa Valley – Sun World Fansipan Legend – Hanoi (overnight in Hanoi) (Breakfast/Lunch)
- The appointed tour guide will meet up with guests around 08:00 AM and escort guests to walk to Sapa town ~ Sun Plaza station to ride on Muong Hoa Hiking Train to Sun World Fansipan Legend station.
- The Sun World Fansipan Legend Combo Package covers the Muong Hoa train ticket + cable car charges + entrance fees + funicular ride to the peak of Fansipan Mountain + buffet lunch at Van Sam Restaurant.
- Guests normally spend more than four hours here to enjoy the panoramic view in this theme park.
- After lunch we will return Sapa.
- The driver will pick you up at hotel lobby around 14:00 PM to return Hanoi with Limousine Van.
Day 6: Depart Hanoi (Breakfast)
- Breakfast at hotel and enjoy free time for self-arranged activities.
- Gather as per the agreed schedule.
- Transfer to airport for departure.
