Overview
This 4-day journey in Ho Chi Minh City introduces travelers to the vibrant culture, history, and daily life of southern Vietnam. The trip begins with a city tour featuring important landmarks such as the War Remnants Museum, Independence Palace, Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon, and the Saigon Central Post Office. Guests can also explore the lively shopping atmosphere at Saigon Square and Ben Thanh Market.
The experience continues with an excursion to the scenic Mekong Delta, where visitors cruise along the Tien River, explore local villages, orchards, and handicraft workshops in areas such as My Tho and Ben Tre. The itinerary also includes a visit to the historic Cu Chi Tunnels, offering insight into Vietnam’s wartime history. The journey concludes with leisure time in Ho Chi Minh City before departure.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Ho Chi Minh City – Ho Chi Minh City Tour (Lunch OR Dinner)
- Upon arrival, the appointed tour guide will welcome guests at Tan Son Nhat Int’l Airport, Ho Chi Minh City.
- Continue the Saigon city tour and visit War Remnants Museum, Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Saigon Central Post Office and lastly enjoy free time for shopping bargains at the Saigon Square Market and Ben Thanh Market.
- Transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2: Day Trip To Mekong Delta (My Tho + Ben Tre) (Breakfast/Lunch)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Transfer to My Tho Marina Pier.
- Cruise on the Tien River to enjoy the scenery of the four islets: Long, Lan, Quy, and Phung.
- The boat passes by floating fish farms along the Tien River and offers a view of the Rach Mieu Bridge.
- Arrive at Thoi Son Islet. Take a leisurely walk along village paths, visit fruit orchards, enjoy seasonal tropical fruits, and listen to Southern folk music (“Đờn ca tài tử”).
- Take a rowing sampan through small canals to admire the tranquil waterways, visit a honeybee farm, and taste honey tea, banana wine, etc.
- Continue down the Tien River to Tan Thach Canal (Ben Tre). Visit a coconut candy workshop and discover traditional handicraft villages.
- Take a motorboat along the Tan Thach canal to explore the daily life of the countryside, then have lunch at
Viet Nhat Ecological Restaurant. At Viet Nhat Ecological Restaurant, you can see crocodile and porcupine farms, frog and snake breeding models, relax on hammocks, and enjoy free cycling around fruit orchards, coconut groves, and rice fields. - Afterwards, take a horse-drawn carriage ride through village paths to learn more about the daily life of the local people.
- End of trip, back to My Tho Pier then return to Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 3 Cu Chi Tunnel – Ben Thanh Market for Bargain Shopping (Breakfast/Lunch)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Proceed to Cu Chi Tunnel (40Km away from Ho Chi Minh City center)
- Upon arrival, we will explore the vast network of underground tunnels from the 1940s, expanded by guerrilla Viet Cong forces during the American War. The local tour guide will bring you to explore some of the tunnels that remain unchanged and see plenty of evidence of the fierce battles that took place here.
- Back to Ho Chi Minh City for lunch.
- In the afternoon, we will visit Ben Thanh Market for bargain shopping.
- Back to hotel. Tour program ends
Day 4: Depart Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast)
- Breakfast and enjoy free time for self-arranged activities.
- Gather at lobby as per the agreed schedule.
- Transfer to airport for departure.
