Overview
This 3-day tour begins with a drive from Kuala Lumpur to Penang (approximately 4.5 hours). Upon arrival, embark on a half-day tour of Georgetown, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you’ll explore Fort Cornwallis, Little India, the Streets of Racial Harmony, Penang Street Art, and Chew Jetty. You’ll also enjoy Penang’s famous White Coffee or Tea at Coffee Tree before checking into your hotel for the night.
On Day 2, after breakfast, enjoy a city tour that includes a funicular train ride up Penang Hill for panoramic views, followed by visits to the Wat Chayamangkalaram Temple and Dhammikarama Burmese Temple, both rich in history. After the tour, you’ll have the evening free before returning to your hotel. On Day 3, check out and transfer back to Kuala Lumpur for your departure, concluding the tour.

- Any applicable taxes, fees, or surcharges imposed by the local authorities, including but not limited to tourism taxes, service charges, or municipal fees, that are required to be paid upon check-in or during the stay shall be the sole responsibility of the guest.
- Any additional fees or charges imposed by the hotel or provider for optional services or amenities not mentioned in the package shall be the responsibility of the guest and must be settled directly on-site.

Itinerary
Day 1: Kuala Lumpur – Penang
- Pick up at Kuala Lumpur
- Proceed to Penang (Approx 4Hours 30Minute drive).
- Upon arrive at Penang proceed half day tour to Georgetown. Take a scenic drive through the streets of George Town – UNESCO World Heritage Site and witness the ramnant left by the British and local dwellers of the past.
- Place of Interest: Fort Cornwallis, Little India, Streets of Racial Harmony, Penang Street Art, Chew Jetty, and Penang’s famous White Coffee/ Tea @ Coffee Tree.
- After tour, Check in hotel.
- Lunch and dinner at own expenses.
- Overnight at Penang hotel.
Day 2: Penang Full Day (Breakfast)
- Breakfast at hotel. Our driver will pick you to proceed with the city Tour.
- City Tour: Penang Hill where you will ride a funicular train to its peak at 833m above sea level to enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of Georgetown and mainland Butterworth.
- Visit the Wat Chayamangkalaram Temple where the 4th longest Reclining Buddha Statue is found. Right across the road you may also visit the Dhammikarama Burmese Temple which holds a Buddha statue standing at 8.2 meters, making it the tallest in Malaysia. The existence of these two temples is due to the early settlement of the Thai and Burmese community in the early 1800s
- Lunch and dinner at own expenses.

Day 3: Departure (Breakfast)

TERMS & CONDITIONS
- The rates provided are based strictly on the minimum number of persons specified in the request above. If the actual number of persons is fewer or reduced, the rate will need to be recalculated and re-quoted accordingly.
- This is solely a quotation. No reservation has been made until we receive your written acceptance of the quotation and the deposit to secure the quoted rates.
- Price is subject to any surcharge including peak season surcharge/ weekend/ public holiday surcharge.
- Confirmation is subject to availability of both hotels / land transfer arrangements.
- Deposit of 50% is required upon booking confirmation and final payment to be paid in full one month before arrival.
- Change of travel date is allowed and must be made 2 weeks prior to check-in date and is subject to room availability.
- Illness or Absence: The guest is responsible for any expenses incurred due to early return. There will be no refund for absence or early departure from a guided holiday.
- Cancellation procedure: Travel arrangements for any member of the party may be cancelled at any time by written notice by the person who made the booking.
- Please note the following:
- If notice of cancellation is received by Star Travel more than 30 days prior to the guided holiday departure date, 20% will be retained along for Star Travel’s Cancellation Fee Waiver payment.
- If full payment is not received one month prior to arrival date, Star Travel has the right to cancel your reservation. Star Travel will not be responsible for any lost reservations.
- If a member of the party made a cancellation, resulting in a change of room type (for example, from Twin to Single), the charges for the new room type will be shared among the remaining members of the party
- However, cancellation policies from third parties, such as resorts or other suppliers, may be subject to their respective penalties.
