Overview
This 12-day Mongolia tour begins in Ulaanbaatar, where you’ll explore the Chinggis Khaan Museum, Central Square, and enjoy a traditional performance. From there, travel to Karakorum, the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire, and visit the Erdene Zuu Monastery. Journey through the Orkhon Valley, hike stunning landscapes, visit a nomadic family, and explore the Ongi Temple Ruins. Continue to Bayanzag, the Flaming Cliffs, and the Khongor Sand Dunes for camel riding and a hike through golden sand dunes.
The adventure continues to Yol Valley for hiking and wildlife, followed by Tsagaan Suvarga, known for its dramatic limestone cliffs, and Baga Gazriin Chuluu, a picturesque mountain range. Discover the beauty of Terelj National Park and its turtle-shaped rock, before visiting the Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex and enjoying some shopping in Ulaanbaatar. After a farewell dinner, your tour concludes with a transfer to the airport for departure.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Ulaanbaatar (Lunch/Dinner)
- Upon arrival at the Ulaanbaatar airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
- After having a rest and refreshment you will attend a city sightseeing tour including visit to the Central square, Chinggis Khaan Museum.
- Enjoy traditional art performance
- Welcome Dinner.
Day 2: Karakorum (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast and travel to Karakorum, where the capital of Great Mongolian Empire was existed.
- Visit the Local Museum and Erdene Zuu monastery.
- Overnight stay at Munkh – Tenger Ger Camp.
Day 3: Orkhon Valley (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast and travel to Orkhon valley.
- Embark on a 2-hour hike to enjoy breathtaking views of the valley and Orkhon River.
- Visit a nomad family, enjoy traditional hospitality.
- Overnight stay at Blue Sky Ger Camp.
Day 4: Ongi (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast and depart from Orkhon Valley and travel to Ongi Temple Ruins.
- You will be feeling the Gobi type landscape and the endless horizon of the vast steppe.
- Late afternoon you will walk to the area where ruins of ancient temples are situated.
- Overnight stay at Secret of the Ongi Ger Camp.
Day 5: Bayanzag (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast and depart to Bayanzag, the place where dinosaurs were lived 70 million years ago, and is internationally famous for its dinosaur remains of complete skeletons, eggs and hatchlings of the Cretaceous Period.
- Here you will see saksaul forest in the Gobi-desert and red flaming cliffs, which formed by the erosion of the sand and rock over many thousands of years. Walking through the Flaming cliffs.
- Overnight stay at Mongolian Ger Camp.
Day 6: Khongor Sand Dunes & Visit Camel Herder Family / Camel Riding (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast and travel to Khongor sand dunes. Known as Singing sand dunes, the Khongor dunes are up to 300m high, 15km wide, and 180km long.
- Short hiking and climbing to the Golden sand dunes.
- The view is incredible from top of the dunes. Camel riding for an hour.
- Overnight stay at Gobi Erdene Ger Camp.
Day 7: Yol Valley (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast and travel to Yol valley (Lammergeier’s Gorge).
- Visit a small local museum and hiking through the valley for 2hours.
- Overnight stay.
Day 8: Tsagaan Suvarga (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast and travel to Tsagaan Suvarga (this stunning area is 30 meters high white limestone formation and created over thousands of years by natural wind)
- Embark on a 2-hour hike through the area.
- Overnight stay in Tsagaan Suvarga Ger Camp.
Day 9: Baga Gazriin Chuluu (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast and travel to Baga Gazriin Chuluu, is a picturesque mountain at an elevation of 1,751 meters in the Granite Belt of Mongolia.
- Explore around the area and enjoy hiking along the valley and rocky mountain for 2-3hours.
- Overnight stay at Erdene Ukhaa Ger Camp.
Day 10: Terelk NP (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast and travel to Terelj National Park.
- Enjoy the local landmark Turtle shaped rock.
- Embark on a scenic hike lasting 1-2 hours.
- Overnight stay at Terelj Lodge Ger Camp.
Day 11: Chinggis Khaan – Ulaanbaatar (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast and you will head to the Statue Complex of Chinggis Khaan, situated in Tsonjin Boldog.
- Visit the museum and take a panoramic view from the top deck. Move to the city.
- Shopping for cashmere and souvenirs.
- Farewell dinner.
- Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 12: Departure (Breakfast)
- After breakfast, check out from and transfer to airport for departure.
