Overview
This 8-day Kerala itinerary offers a well-rounded journey through the region’s scenic landscapes, lush hill stations, wildlife destinations, tranquil backwaters, and beautiful coastal areas. Beginning in Cochin, the journey continues to Munnar and Thekkady, with opportunities to experience tea plantations, waterfalls, viewpoints, nature, and local attractions, followed by a traditional houseboat cruise through the peaceful backwaters of Alleppey.
The journey then continues to Kovalam and Trivandrum, combining cultural and historical sightseeing with relaxing beach experiences. A day trip to Kanyakumari adds further highlights, including its temples, coastal scenery, Vivekananda Rock, Gandhi Mandapam, and sunset views, before returning to Trivandrum for final sightseeing and departure.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Cochin
- Arrived in Cochin International Airport and meet with our representative.
- Transfer to hotel and check in.
- Overnight stay in Cochin.
Day 2: Cochin – Munnar (4hrs up hill drive) (Breakfast)
- After breakfast check out & proceed to Munnar.
- Today you will be driving through the lush green tea plantation and the beautiful valley view with a thrilling curve driving.
- On the way, visit Chiambara waterfalls, Valara waterfalls, Karadipara viewpoint, Blossom Park (9 am to 6 pm), and visit and view the viewpoint of Plantations.
- Arrive in Munnar and check in hotel.
- Overnight stay.
Day 3: Munnar (Breakfast)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Proceed to the full day city sightseeing of Munnar include, Tea Museum, Flower Garden Photo Point, Elephant Park, Mattupetty Dam, and shooting point.
- Transfer back to hotel and rest.
- Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 4: Munnar – Thekkady (90.8km / 3hr) (Breakfast)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Drive to Periyar (knows as Thekkady).
- Arrival at Thekkady check in the hotel.
- Afternoon free for local sightseeing.
- Overnight stay.
Day 5: Thekkady – Alleppey (139km / 3hr 56min) (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Proceed to Alleppey for houseboat experience.
- Check in to the houseboat.
- Sail through backwaters, enjoy village, paddy fields and local life views.
- Overnight stay on houseboat.
Day 6: Alleppey – Kovalam (4hrs 30min) (Breakfast)
- After breakfast, check out hotel and proceed to Kovalam.
- Arrive at Kovalam, check in hotel, refresh and proceed to the sightseeing of Trivandrum including The Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Museum and Sri Padmanabha Temple.
- Relax in the afternoon on the beach.
- Overnight stay.
Day 7: Kovalam – Kanyakumari – Kovalam (Breakfast)
- After breakfast, proceed to Kanyakumari.
- Arrive at Kanyakumari, visit temple (12noon – 4pm closed), Vivekananda Rock, Gandhi Mandapam, Beach, and witness Sun Set.
- Then proceed to Kovalam.
- Overnight stay.
Day 8: Kovalam – Trivandrum Sightseeing – Departure (Breakfast)
- Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast.
- Later proceed for the sightseeing of Trivandrum – The temple of Anantha, the Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple.
- Other sightseeing places are Kuthiramalika Palace, Veli Tourist Village and Shangumugham Beach.
- Transfer to airport for departure.
