Overview
This 7-day tour takes you from Kuala Lumpur to Cameron Highlands, Ipoh, and Penang, combining scenic countryside, cultural landmarks, and city experiences. Highlights include the Cameron Highlands Countryside Tour, Ipoh’s Mirror Lake and heritage sites, a Georgetown UNESCO World Heritage walking tour, Penang Hill, Wat Chayamangkalaram and Dhammikarama Temples, Kampung Agong village, Batu Ferringhi Beach, and a Kuala Lumpur half-day city tour featuring the King’s Palace, National Mosque, Independence Square, and Petronas Twin Towers. The itinerary includes hotel stays, transfers, and guided sightseeing, with meals at own expense, concluding with departure from Kuala Lumpur.

Itinerary
Day 1: Kuala Lumpur – Cameron Highland
- Pick up at hotel in Kuala Lumpur
- Proceed to Cameron Highland (3-4 hours’ drive)
- Upon arrival proceed with Cameron Highlands Countryside Tour
- Places to visit: Rose Valley, Strawberry Farm, Tea Plantation Overview, Honeybee Farm, Local Vegetable / FruitMarket
- Transfer to the hotel to check in
- Lunch and dinner at own expense. Overnight at Cameron Highland Hotel
Day 2: Cameron Highland – Ipoh (Breakfast)
- Breakfast at hotel and check out
- Transfer to Ipoh (2-3 hours’ drive)
- Upon arrival and proceed to Ipoh tour. Place visit: Mirror Lake, Kek Lok Cave Temple (Photo stop), Ipoh Town Hall, Ipoh War Memorial, Birch Memorial Clock Tower, Yasmin at Kong Heng Newseum, Concubine Lane (Free and Easy), Memory Lane (Free and Easy). After tour, check in hotel.
- Lunch and dinner at own expense. Overnight at Ipoh Hotel
Day 3: Ipoh – Penang Tour (Breakfast)
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Proceed half day tour to Georgetown. Take a scenic drive through the streets of George Town – UNESCO World Heritage Site and witness the remnant left by the British and local dwellers of the past. Place of Interest: Fort Cornwallis, Little India, Streets of Racial Harmony, Penang Street Art, Chew Jetty. Penang’s famous White Coffee/ Tea @ Coffee Tree.
- After tour, Check in hotel.
- Lunch and dinner at own expense. Overnight at Penang Hotel.
Day 4: Penang Full Day (Breakfast)
- Breakfast at hotel. Our driver will pick you to proceed with the city Tour
- City Tour: Penang Hill where you will ride a funicular train to its peak at 833m above sea level to enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of Georgetown and mainland Butterworth.
- Visit the Wat Chayamangkalaram Temple where the 4th longest Reclining Buddha Statue is found. Right across the road you may also visit the Dhammikarama Burmese Temple which holds a Buddha statue standing at 8.2 meters, making it the tallest in Malaysia. The existence of these two temples is due to the early settlement of the Thai and Burmese community in the early 1800s.
- Lunch and dinner at own expense. Overnight at Penang Hotel.
Day 5: Penang Full Day (Breakfast)
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Begin the day with a visit to Kampung Agong, where you can admire the wisdom of traditional architecture, including the jelapang padi (rice field), rumah kampung (village house), and more. Take a relaxing stroll around the picturesque pond, adorned with blooming water lilies. Explore the tranquil surroundings, and if you wish, hop on a bicycle to discover other corners of this beautiful village.
- Next, head to Batu Ferringhi Beach. Enjoy the refreshing sea breeze as you walk along the shore. For the more adventurous, try exciting water sports such as jet-skiing and parasailing (own expense). Afterward, take time to unwind and enjoy the stunning sunset.
- After the tour, transfer back to the hotel.
- Lunch and dinner at own expense. Overnight at Penang Hotel.
Day 6: Penang – Kuala Lumpur (Breakfast)
- Breakfast at hotel and check out
- Transfer to Kuala Lumpur (4-5 hours’ drive)
- Arrival at Kuala Lumpur, Proceed for Kuala Lumpur Half Day Evening tour. King’s Palace (Photo Stop), National Mosque (Photo Stop), Independence Square & Sultan Abdul Samad Building (Photo Stop), River of Life (Photo Stop) and ending to Petronas Twin Tower (Photo Stop)
- Check in hotel.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
- The rates provided are based strictly on the minimum number of persons specified in the request above. If the actual number of persons is fewer or reduced, the rate will need to be recalculated and re-quoted accordingly.
- This is solely a quotation. No reservation has been made until we receive your written acceptance of the quotation and the deposit to secure the quoted rates.
- Price is subject to any surcharge including peak season surcharge/ weekend/ public holiday surcharge.
- Confirmation is subject to availability of both hotels / land transfer arrangements.
- Deposit of 50% is required upon booking confirmation and final payment to be paid in full one month before arrival.
- Change of travel date is allowed and must be made 2 weeks prior to check-in date and is subject to room availability.
- Illness or Absence: The guest is responsible for any expenses incurred due to early return. There will be no refund for absence or early departure from a guided holiday.
- Cancellation procedure: Travel arrangements for any member of the party may be cancelled at any time by written notice by the person who made the booking.
- Please note the following:
- If notice of cancellation is received by Star Travel more than 30 days prior to the guided holiday departure date, 20% will be retained along for Star Travel’s Cancellation Fee Waiver payment.
- If full payment is not received one month prior to arrival date, Star Travel has the right to cancel your reservation. Star Travel will not be responsible for any lost reservations.
- If a member of the party made a cancellation, resulting in a change of room type (for example, from Twin to Single), the charges for the new room type will be shared among the remaining members of the party
- However, cancellation policies from third parties, such as resorts or other suppliers, may be subject to their respective penalties.
