Overview
This 7-day Sri Lanka itinerary offers a diverse journey through the country’s cultural, historical, scenic, and natural highlights. Starting in Colombo, the tour travels to Sigiriya to explore ancient heritage sites, followed by Kandy and Nuwara Eliya, where guests can experience cultural landmarks, tea plantations, scenic mountain landscapes, and the charm of Sri Lanka’s hill country.
The journey continues through Ella and Yala, featuring scenic train travel, waterfalls, iconic landmarks, and an optional wildlife safari at Yala National Park. The tour then heads along the southern coast to Galle to discover its historic fort and coastal surroundings, before returning to Colombo for sightseeing, shopping, leisure, and departure.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Colombo – Sigiriya (approx. 4-5hrs) (Lunch/Dinner)
- Upon arrival, meet with our representatives.
- Proceed to Sigiriya.
- Visit Dambulla Cave Temple.
- Check in hotel and overnight stay.
- Optional – evening visit Sigiriya Village or Ayurvedic Spa
Day 2: Sigiriya – Kandy (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- After breakfast, climb the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress (UNESCO Heritage Site)
- Continue to Kandy.
- En route, visit a spice garden in Matale.
- Explore Kandy City, including the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Kandy Lake, and local markets.
- Transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
- Optional – enjoy a traditional cultural dance performance.
Day 3: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Drive through scenic mountain roads and lush tea plantation.
- Visit tea factory and plantation to learn about the famous Ceylon Tea-making process.
- Arrive in Nuwara Eliya and enjoy a city tour, including Gregory Lake and Victoria Park.
- Transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4: Nuwara Eliya – Yala via Ella (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Take a scenic train ride from Nanu Oya to Ella (approx. 2.5hrs) – tickets are highly subject to availability.
- Visit the famous Nine Arches Bridge.
- Stop at Ravana Falls for photograph.
- Continue to Yala.
- Check in your safari lodge or hotel.
- Relax for the evening.
Day 5: Yala – Galle (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Early morning, take a jeep safari at Yala National Park (optional but recommended – RM260 per person)
- Return to hotel for breakfast.
- Proceed to Galle via southern coastal route.
- Explore the historic Galle Fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site), lighthouse, museums, boutiques and cafes.
- Enjoy sunset by the fort walls.
- Transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 6: Galle – Colombo (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Drive to Colombo.
- Enjoy a city tour covering Independence Square, Gangaramaya Temple, Galle Face Green, Pettah Market, and shopping malls.
- Free time for shopping or leisure.
- Transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 7: Colombo – Departure (Breakfast)
- Breakfast at hotel and check out hotel.
- Depending on your flight, enjoy leisure time or last minute shopping.
- Transfer to airport for departure.

Remarks
- Rooms are subject to availability upon confirmation of the booking.
- Alcohol will not be served by any hotel on Poya Days (full moon) and public holidays prohibited by the government.
- Smoking Tobacco and drinking alcohol are strictly prohibited in public places and is only allowed in designated areas.
- When entering a Buddhist Temple or Hindu Kovil, refrain from wearing shorts, skinnies when entering and remove footwear/caps. Some temples do not allow photographs.
- Do not feed monkeys and other animals and do not wear bright colored clothes during Game drives and nature walks as it can distract animals.
