Itinerary
Day 1: Istanbul
- Arrive in Istanbul.
- Meet our representative at the airport.
- Transfer to the hotel.
- Check-in for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Istanbul (Breakfast/Lunch)
- After breakfast we set off on a full day of sightseeing in Istanbul.
- Start visit to the renewed Sultanahmet Mosque, known as The Blue Mosque.
- Continue to the Hippodrome.
- Go to the nearby Hagia Sophia.
- After lunch, visit Topkapi Palace, which for more than 400 years was the imperial residence of the Ottoman Sultans now home to the priceless collections porcelain, jewelry, calligraphy and many masterpiece of art.
- The tour will end with visit to the Grand Bazaar.
- Back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3: Istanbul – Izmir – Kusadasi (Breakfast/Dinner)
- After breakfast, half day sightseeing tour in Istanbul.
- Start visit Spice Market, Egyptian Bazaar built in the 17th century.
- Continue our tour with Bosphorus Cruise in a regular boat.
- Seeing along the way the old Ottoman wooden mansions, marble palaces, foreign embassies estates and small fishery villages, located at the Asian and European sides.
- Transferred to Istanbul airport for our departure flight to Izmir.
- Arrive in Izmir airport, we transferred to our hotel in Kusadasi.
- Dinner and overnight at hotel in Kusadasi.
Day 4: Kusadasi (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- After breakfast, we will drive shortly to the town of Selcuk.
- Walk downhill to visit the 14th century Isabey Mosque.
- Following this visit, our driver will pick us up to drive shortly to the ruins of Ephesus the city mentioned in the Bible several times.
- Stroll through the extensively excavated archaeological site with the Great Theatre where St Paul had preached and the Church of the Councils (two of the Christian Councils were held here).
- Heading up the hills behind Ephesus, you will see where Virgin Mary is believed to have spent the last days of her life.
- Concluding your sightseeing, you may spend some leisurely time in the town centre of Kusadasi.
- You may stroll through the charming market that is right across the port to hunt for bargains in fine jewelry, silverware and leather products at a great variety of stores offering handmade souvenirs of Turkish culture.
- Back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5: Kusadasi – Izmir – Istanbul (Breakfast)
- After breakfast, we drive to Izmir airport for our domestic flight back to Istanbul.
- Arrive in Istanbul, transfer to hotel for check in.
Day 6: Istanbul (Breakfast)
- After breakfast, check out and transfer to airport for departure.
