Overview
This five-day journey takes travelers through the scenic and cultural highlights of Malaysia. The trip begins in Kuala Lumpur with a transfer to the cool hill station of Cameron Highlands, where visitors can enjoy a countryside tour featuring rose gardens, tea plantations, strawberry farms, and local markets. The day concludes with hotel check-in and an overnight stay in Cameron Highlands.
The journey continues with visits to Ipoh and Penang, exploring historical landmarks, local heritage sites, and UNESCO World Heritage areas. Guests will experience city tours, including Georgetown’s colonial streets, Penang Hill’s panoramic views, and cultural attractions such as temples and street art. Each day is designed for sightseeing and leisure, with hotel accommodations provided and meals arranged at the traveler’s discretion, concluding with a return to Kuala Lumpur for departure.

Itinerary
Day 1: Kuala Lumpur – Cameron Highland
- Pick up at hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
- Proceed to Cameron Highland (3-4 hours’ drive).
- Upon arrival proceed with Cameron Highlands Countryside Tour.
- Places to visit: Rose Valley, Strawberry Farm, Tea Plantation Overview, Honeybee Farm, Local Vegetable / Fruit Market.
- Transfer to the hotel to check in.
- Lunch and dinner at own expense.
- Lunch and dinner at own expense.
Day 2: Cameron Highland – Ipoh (Breakfast)
- Breakfast at hotel and check out.
- Transfer to Ipoh (2-3 hours’ drive).
- Upon arrival and proceed to Ipoh tour. Place visit: Mirror Lake, Kek Lok Cave Temple (Photo stop), Ipoh Town Hall, Ipoh War Memorial, Birch Memorial Clock Tower, Yasmin at Kong Heng Newseum, Concubine Lane (Free and Easy), Memory Lane (Free and Easy).
- After tour, check in hotel.
- Lunch and dinner at own expense.
- Overnight at Ipoh Hotel.
Day 3: Ipoh – Penang Tour (Breakfast)
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Proceed half day tour to Georgetown. Take a scenic drive through the streets of George Town – UNESCO World Heritage Site and witness the remnant left by the British and local dwellers of the past. Place of Interest: Fort Cornwallis, Little India, Streets of Racial Harmony, Penang Street Art, Chew Jetty. Penang’s famous White Coffee/ Tea @ Coffee Tree.

Day 4: Penang Full Day (Breakfast)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Our driver will pick you to proceed with the city Tour.
- City Tour: Penang Hill where you will ride a funicular train to its peak at 833m above sea level to enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of Georgetown and mainland Butterworth.

- The rates provided are based strictly on the minimum number of persons specified in the request above. If the actual number of persons is fewer or reduced, the rate will need to be recalculated and re-quoted accordingly.
- This is solely a quotation. No reservation has been made until we receive your written acceptance of the quotation and the deposit to secure the quoted rates.
- Price is subject to any surcharge including peak season surcharge/ weekend/ public holiday surcharge.
- Confirmation is subject to availability of both hotels / land transfer arrangements.
- Deposit of 50% is required upon booking confirmation and final payment to be paid in full one month before arrival.
- Change of travel date is allowed and must be made 2 weeks prior to check-in date and is subject to room availability.
- Illness or Absence: The guest is responsible for any expenses incurred due to early return. There will be no refund for absence or early departure from a guided holiday.
- Cancellation procedure: Travel arrangements for any member of the party may be cancelled at any time by written notice by the person who made the booking.
- Please note the following:
- If notice of cancellation is received by Star Travel more than 30 days prior to the guided holiday departure date, 20% will be retained along for Star Travel’s Cancellation Fee Waiver payment.
- If full payment is not received one month prior to arrival date, Star Travel has the right to cancel your reservation. Star Travel will not be responsible for any lost reservations.
- If a member of the party made a cancellation, resulting in a change of room type (for example, from Twin to Single), the charges for the new room type will be shared among the remaining members of the party
- However, cancellation policies from third parties, such as resorts or other suppliers, may be subject to their respective penalties.
