Overview
This 4-day journey through North Sumatra begins in Medan and takes travelers to the scenic highlands surrounding Lake Toba, the largest volcanic lake in the world. Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Medan – Parapat/ Samosir Island (Lunch/Dinner)
- Greeted by our representative/tour guide upon arrival at Kuala Namu International Airport.
- Journey to Lake Toba, the largest volcanic lake globally.
- Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant along the way.
- En route, stop at the Patent Shop for local food purchases like Ting-ting, Teng-teng, etc.
- Visit Sidamanik Tea Plantation.
- Check into the hotel upon arrival in Parapat/Samosir Island.
- Dinner at a local restaurant followed by a free program to explore the nightlife in Parapat/Samosir Island.
Day 2: Samosir Island Tour – Parapat – Berastagi (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Begin the day with breakfast at the hotel.
- Start the trip to explore Samosir Island tour, visit: Tomok Village to see the ancient Batak Kings Tomb, The kings of Sidabutar.
- Continue tour to Ambarita Village (Only for groups 11 persons above), to see the Batak Village and the famous stone chair, and the execution place of King Sialagan.
- Return back to Parapat and lunch at local restaurant.
- Proceed to Berastagi Highland.
- Continue the trip to visit the Sipiso-Piso waterfall to see the view of lake Toba from the northern side.
- Check into the hotel upon arrival in Berastagi.
- Dinner at a local restaurant followed by a free program to explore the nightlife in Berastagi.
Day 3: Berastagi – Medan (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- After breakfast at the hotel, check out.
- Proceed back to Medan.
- Enroute visit Pasar Buah (Fruit Market) to buy some special local fruit, vegetables etc.
- Continue visit Shwedagon Pagoda Replica at Taman Lumbini.
- Upon arrival Medan, visit Maimoon Palace, Al-Mashun Grand Mosque/Annai Velangkani Church/Sri Mariamman Temple/Maitreya Temple, Kedai Kain, Pasar Ikan, and Sun Plaza/Medan Mall.
- Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, followed by check-in at the hotel for a free program.
Day 4: Departure (Breakfast
