(Negambo – Kandy – Nuwara Eliya – Bentota)

Day 1: Colombo Airport – Negombo (37.5kms – 44mins) (D)

Upon arrival at Colombo International Airport, you will meet our local representative and proceed to the Negombo Hotel for an overnight stay. Negombo is a quaint beach town located just 10 kilometers from Bandaranaike International Airport. You will be staying at the Covanro Hotel (4-star).

Day 2: Negombo – Pinnawela – Kandy (77.8kms – 2hrs) – Kandy (40.9kms – 1hr 12mins) (B/L/D)

After breakfast, head to Kandy. Along the way, visit the Millennium Elephant Park, a sanctuary for Sri Lankan elephants. Learn about its history and mission to improve elephant care. Enjoy activities like walking with, feeding, and bathing elephants. Proceed to Mawanella for lunch at an herbal garden, with an option for a head and shoulder massage. Continue to Kandy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with a man-made lake at its center. In the evening, visit the Kandy Temple of the Tooth Relic and watch a cultural dance performance. Stay at Amaya Hills Hotel (4 Star) for dinner and overnight.

 Day 3: Kandy - Nuwara Eliya (Little England) (97.8kms – 3hrs) (B/L/D)

After breakfast, take a scenic 3.5-hour train journey through mountains, waterfalls, tea gardens, and more. Meet your guide at Nuwara Eliya station, then have lunch and explore Little England. Stroll through charming streets, visit the red-bricked post office, relax at Queen Victoria Park or Lake Gregory. Explore Ramayana-related sites like Sita Amman Temple, Hakgala Botanical Garden, and Gayathri Amman Temple. Stay at Galway Heights (4 Star) for dinner and the night.

 Day 4: Nuwara Eliya – Bentota via Kitulgala (208kms – 3hrs 16mins) (B/L/D)

After breakfast, head to Bentota via Kitulgala, known for thrilling water sports. Explore Broadlands Dam, Belilena Cave, and various waterfalls, including Aberdeen Falls and Nalagana Ella Falls. Have lunch at the Plantation Restaurant in Kitulgala. Continue to Galle to discover the UNESCO Heritage City with its historic Dutch fort and colorful past. Visit the Rumassala Temple en route to Bentota. Check in at Cinnamon Bay Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Bentota — Mirissa (98.1kms – 2hrs) — Bentota (B/L/D)

In the morning, embark on a whale-watching expedition to spot blue and sperm whales, a unique experience in southern Sri Lanka. Your guide will provide insights into marine life and conservation. Please note that swimming with the whales requires special permission, which we cannot guarantee. Then, visit a turtle conservation farm on the way back. Explore the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, learn about sea turtle protection, and even interact with baby and injured turtles. Have lunch at the hotel. In the evening, at 3:00 pm, enjoy a boat ride on the Bentota River. Discover the mangrove forests, observe wildlife like crocodiles, snakes, and various bird species. Return to Cinnamon Bay Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

 Day 6: Bentota – Colombo (82.4kms – 2hrs) – Depart to Airport (B, L, D)

After breakfast, check out at 9:00 AM and head to Colombo. Visit the Kelaniya Temple and have lunch at Nom Nom Thai Restaurant, followed by a visit to the Aanjaneyar Temple. Explore Colombo with a city tour, including Fort, Sea Street, Pettah, and the Dutch Church of Wolfen Dhal. See BMICH, the Avukana Buddha replica, and Independence Square. After the tour, freshen up (changing rooms provided for 2 hours). Enjoy a Chinese seafood dinner and reach the airport by 9:00 PM for your flight home.
