Kota Kinabalu is the capital of the Malaysian state of Sabah, which is located on the island of Borneo. Due to its closeness to tropical islands, lush rainforests, and Mount Kinabalu, this Malaysian city is a growing vacation destination. It is located on the west coast of Sabah, within the West Coast Division, and is commonly referred to as KK. KK is the largest city in Sabah and the main entry point to the island of Borneo. KK is located on a narrow flatland with occasional hills flanked by the Crocker Range, which is home to Mount Kinabalu. The city's urban sprawl is focused along the shore to the north and south.

DAY 1 ARRIVAL KOTA KINABALU | BRIEF CITY TOUR (D)

Upon arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Meet and greet with our representative. Will proceed with Kota Kinabalu City Tour. Transfer to selected hotel for check in. Around 7:00PM the driver will pick up at city hotel and transfer to local restaurant for seafood dinner. Overnight at selected hotel.

DAY 2 TWIN ISLAND HOPPING (B/L/D)

After breakfast at hotel, the driver will pick up at hotel lobby and transfer to the jetty for about 15 minutes boat ride to Manukan Island. In the Manukan Island you may go for swimming, snorkeling or just sun-bathing along the beach as well as enjoy the water sports (own expenses).  Lunch and will proceed to the second island either Sapi Island or Mamutik Island and free at own leisure. Return to the mainland in the late afternoon and will transfer back to hotel. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at selected hotel.

DAY 3 DEPARTURE KOTA KINABALU (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Free at own leisure until check out time. Transfer out to the airport for your departure.

• Tourism tax of RM10 per room per night; for non Malaysian (pay directly to the hotel)
• Cititel Express BKI will temporarily closed from April until further notice (expected completed by August or September 2023)
• Things suggested to bring for island hopping are sun block / tan lotion, swimming attire, towel, extra clothes for change, personal toiletries etc.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Rates quoted are strictly for the minimum number of pax as mentioned above, rates may vary depending on the number of pax requested.
2. This is only a quotation, no reservation has been made until we have received your written acceptance of the quotation and deposit to secure the quotation rates.
3. Price is subject to any surcharge including peak season surcharge / weekend / public holiday surcharge.
4. Confirmation is subject to availability of both hotels / land transfer arrangements
5. Deposit of 50% is required upon booking confirmation and final payment to be paid in full one month before arrival.
6. Change of travel date is allowed and has to be made 2 weeks prior to your trip.
7. Cancellation procedure:

• Travel arrangements for any member of the party may be cancelled at any time with written notice from the person who made the booking.
• Please note the following:

1. If notice of cancellation is received by Star Travel later than 30 days prior to the guided holiday departure date, 20% of the payment made will be retained as Star Travel’s Cancellation Fee Waiver.
2. If full payment is not received one month prior to travel date, Star Travel has the right to cancel your reservation and will not be held accountable for any lost reservations.

• If a person in a party cancels and a room change is required by this cancellation (such as Twin to Single), charges for the new room type will be borne by the remaining party.

Illness or Absence

Early return expenses are the guest’s responsibility. There are no refunds for absences or early departures from a guided holiday.
