Shimla is home to a number of buildings that are styled in the Tudorbethan and neo-Gothic architectures dating from the colonial era, as well as multiple temples and churches. The colonial architecture and churches, the temples and the natural environment of the city attracts tourists. Attractions include the Viceroy Lodge, the Christ Church, the Jakhoo Temple, the Mall Road and the Ridge, which together form the city centre. The Kalka–Shimla Railway line built by the British, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is also a major tourist attraction.
Manali is a resort town nestled in the mountains of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh near the northern end of the Kullu Valley in the Beas River Valley.
Day 1 Kuala Lumpur - Delhi
Upon arrival to New Delhi International Airport, you will be greeted by our Star Travel representative. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 Delhi –Chandigarh (By Train Kalka Shatabdi) - Manali (Distance 280 km, estimated 7 hrs) (B/D)
After breakfast, transfer to New Delhi Railway station to board the train for Chandigarh. Upon arrival at Chandigarh railway station, meet our chauffeur and proceed for Manali. Manali is a perfect hill station covered with Snow Mountains and natural beauty. In the evening, transfer to hotel for check in.
Day 3 Manali – Excursion of Solang Valley - Half day Manali City tour (B/D)
After breakfast, proceed for Solang Valley in Manali is located at a distance of 13 kms in a side valley at the top of the Kullu valley is a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund. Solang valley offers the view of glaciers and snow-capped mountains and peaks. Solang Valley has fine ski slopes. The Mountaineering Institute of Manali has installed a ski lift for training purpose. Located here is a hut and guest house of the Mountaineering and Allied sports Institute, Manali. The winter skiing festival is organized in Solang Valley. Skiing and Paragliding are two main activities are organized here. Apart from this many other adventure sports are available like Zorbing, Horse riding & Snow Motor Bikes riding etc. In the afternoon, transfer to hotel for check in. After that, enjoy Half day Manali City Tour including Tibetan Monastery, Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple. Rest of the day is at leisure or take a stroll down the Mall road. Overnight at Manali.
Day 4 Manali - Shimla (Distance 268 km, estimated 7 hrs) (B/D)
After breakfast, proceed to Shimla. Shimla is capital of the state of Himachal Pradesh which was former capital of British also set amidst, the snow copper, Shaivalik, mountains which offer some of the most beautiful view of Himalaya. After fresh up check into hotel. Rest of day stroll at famous Mall Road. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 Shimla (Sightseeing + Excursion to Kufri) (B/D)
After breakfast, enjoy sightseeing of Shimla. Enjoy a spectacular sight of ice covered Mountain peaks, Sankat Mochan Temple, Jakhu Temple etc. In the afternoon enjoy excursion of Kufri, is one of the best skiing resort near Shimla. Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town - The Mall. Upon arrival you will check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6 Shimla – Chandigarh (Distance 100 km, estimated 4 hrs) – Delhi (by Train Kalka Shatabdi) (B/D)
After breakfast, drive to Chandigarh. Upon arrival, lunch at the local restaurant and later explore the city of Chandigarh; a union territory of India that serves as the capital of the Indian states of Haryana and Punjab. Enjoy the sightseeing of some interesting sights including Rock Garden is situated in the middle of the Capitol Complex and the Sukhna Lake. It is also known as Nek Chand Rock Garden after its founder. It has numerous sculptures made by using a variety of different discarded waste materials like frames, mudguards, forks, handle bars, metal wires, play marbles, porcelain, auto parts, broken bangles followed by Rose Garden and Leisure Valley. Rest of time free for shopping. Later in the evening scheduled transfer to Chandigarh Railway station to board the train for New Delhi. Transfer to hotel for check in.
Day 7 Delhi – Drive to Jaipur (Distance 250 km, estimated 5 hrs) (B/L)
After breakfast and check out, transfer to Jaipur. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check in. Free at your own leisure. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 8 Jaipur – Sightseeing (B/D)
This morning, we will take you for excursion of Amber fort. En-route to Amber you will stop and see the `Palace of Winds’, also known as Hawa Mahal. It is really an elaborate facade behind which the ladies of the court used to watch the daily goings on in the street below. Afternoon visiting the City Palace, a famous landmark that is expanded over a large area as it occupies one seventh of the city. Walk to the adjacent Jantar Mantar or Astronomical Observatory made by the Maharaja of Jaipur. It has also been included in the world heritage lists. You will also have the opportunity to wander in the local markets where you can shop for souvenirs, traditional Rajasthani attires, skilful art craft of the region etc. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 9 Jaipur – Agra (Distance 245 km, estimated 5hrs) (B/D)
Depart for Agra. On your way, visit the UNESCO world heritage site – Fatehpur Sikri. This deserted red sandstone city was built by the Great Mughal Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the late 16th century. Popular highlights of this region are Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti, Diwan-i-Am, Panch Mahal etc. Continue your drive for Agra and check in. Later, proceed for half day City tour including Taj Mahal(closed on Fridays) built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 to enshrine the mortal remains of his Queen Mumtaz followed by visit of Agra Fort. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10 Agra - Delhi (Distance 170 km, estimated 4 hrs) (B/D)
Post breakfast check out the hotel and depart for Delhi. On reaching Delhi visit Akshardham Temple, is also called Swaminarayan Temple epitomizes 10,000 years of Indian culture in all its breathtaking grandeur, beauty, wisdom and bliss. It brilliantly showcases the essence of India’s ancient architecture, traditions and timeless spiritual messages. Largest comprehensive Hindu Temple, the complex was inaugurated on 6 November, 2005. Transfer to hotel to check in.
Day 11 Delhi – Sightseeing / Airport Departure (B)
After breakfast, prepare for check out and proceed for sightseeing visiting India Gate (War memorial), President's house, Parliament house, Secretariat building, Lotus Temple (Closed on Monday) and Qutab Minar. Rest of time for shopping until scheduled transfer to Delhi International Airport to board the flight for your onward journey. Tour ends with happy memories.
